I have been pondering possibilities for a home vortex manipulation unit since receiving the 110 Flex. One of these would certainly float my boat nicely.  Cool

Along side the desire for a sonic upgrade is another for a cab smaller than my 15"  tone ring Showman which is significantly wider and taller. The new tweet location(s) gives it a 'cleaner' look. Smile

Spiritbass they are very functional too as they are up-splayed 45* when the cab is played on its side (probably it 's most common use) so the one will clearly be heard by the player. The other crossfires and splashes across the floor for a little wider dispersion than these cab generally get so a benefit there too.

Is there a plan for a 110 with a matching sub - sort of like the 210 but modular (and hence smaller/lighter for all the times I'd just need the smaller cab)?
That would be pretty dang skippy.

The MAS110 Bass Module is the sub portion of the 110Flex. The cross over points would be the issue as that cab is so tweaked. Mike will chime in soon I am sure. As far as I know the MAS110 Bass Module is for adding the bottom to the MAS45 primarily.

Funny you should mention it. Steve and I were talking about that at length last night.

We will be offering a 210 Flex and a 210Flex Modular.

It will essentially be a 210 cut in two. It will be visually the same as the 110 Flex and 110 sub but the crossover will be completely different. Problem is that I want the user to be able to use the top section as a stand alone and add the sub and have the completely functional equivalent of 210.

Problem is that the crossover is now voiced for the 210. If we just used the 110 crossover we wouldn't have the bright setting of the 210. If we just used the 210 crossover the bright setting would be wayyyy too much for the top section as a stand alone. Here's what we're going to do. The bottom switch on either Flex is a phase switch. It's kindof cool but most guys leave it in phase all of the time. We'll replace that with an additional contour switch which will yield in conjunction with the existing switches 3 mid section voicings. That way it will have both the mid voicings of the 110 Flex and the 210 Flex in a modular package. The only difference will be that it won't have the bottom wheels as they won't be necessary.
