    Carry On.

Oh and please ask Mike if something appears different. He has been relentless in chasing down a few small niggles and has made some mods that may or may not be appropriate for others.

The synergy of two cabinets stacked in the horizontal plane results in a 3-D experience you can feel hit your solar plexus.

    Carry On.

Madness! ... although you may need two more to restore balance to the force.

    Thanks for the photos. bounce

Well, that explains the reports of mysterious seismic activity originating in the Wisconsin area.   affraid

    Warning.

My original MAS - 112 Signature has been updated to the specs of the second build.

Seismic activity shall resume next week. Seriously looking forward to that experience again.
Although indoors... ratz.... those outdoor shots above were taken on a mid to hi 40's day. I still spent over an hour in the cold playing the Glock N' Mas combo. Single digit temps, snow on the ground before Thanksgiving. Bah, guess there is always next year.

Just got done un-boxing a MAS 112 Sig after Fed Ex delivered a (-9 F) box.
We beat our previous record low by 13 degrees this morning.

Warming it up for a private party airplane hanger gig tonight.

Seismic activity may be detected in some locations between 8:00 and 9:30 pm in and around Central Wisconsin. One set as opening act. Should be sweet.

Nothing better than taking delivery on something so special, and getting to gig it soon thereafter in a big space! Kick some booty! Smile

    The gig was just killer.
Especially since I actually, for the first time, heard every single note I played. Articulation? I really don't think Rocco or any funk player could outrun this speaker, especially a pair.

The other bassist was blown away. Said he was schooled that evening as the MAS - GLOCKENKLANG system ate his TH 500 Ampeg 810E pairing for lunch. Not horrid sounding .... just...lacking.

I have found that techniques and EQ tricks that worked previously only in studio now can be applied live. Somewhat like being confronted by the fact that everything I thought I knew is wrong. Every facet of what is upstream from the MAS-112 is being reexamined from cables to pickup height.

Okay, I hereby disavow spouting voodoo and psycho-acoustic black art. The big E guys already took all of that heat for us.

I also will cease and desist from trying to put the Big E / MAS sound into words.

Just go out and find somebody that has one and play through it.
Even if you find out they are not your "cuppa" you will learn where the next rung on the high end tone grail search is. One may find the experience highly educational.

    Yes they are awesome Mike.

New bass day coming up and the ones I already own all sound brand new tone wise, at least to me.

There is a video of Pete Skjold playing through an MAS 112, but it is marked as Private on You Tube. Is there a way to access this video to watch it?

    Thank you!

I'm pretty sure I still have the source file. I need to burn a copy and send it to Mike. My YT page is a mess so I'm slowly trying to clean it up and get it a bit more focused.  There's about four years worth of random content on there right now.

Are there any plans to have Bass Player magazine review the MA112/MAS112? Ed Friedland does amazing video reviews for BP.

Ask Mike what three MAS 112 cabinets looks like stacked horizontally.
